CNN Panel: Dems Don't Want to Be Seen with Obama, Starting to Be a Drag with Women Voters

Sunday on CNN’s “Inside Politics,” host John King pointed to President Barack Obama’s low poll numbers and said, “Look at his approval rating in the CNN poll, 37 percent approval in Iowa, 56 percent disapprove. That tells you about the president’s struggled in this midterm election year and changes the calculation for every Democrat.”

Nia-Malika Henderson of The Washington Post agreed, adding, “They want him not on the campaign trail. They want him out behind closed doors in many ways fundraising. Nobody wants to really be seen with him because he’s such a drag and starting to be a drag in terms of women, the core constituency.”
