Monday on CNN’s “Newsroom” during a debate about former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta saying President Barack Obama should have taken his advice and left a stabilizing force in Iraq and armed Syrian rebels years ago, host Don Lemon said it seems Obama is “going by public support,” not what his military advisers are telling him.
Lemon said, “The president seems to be using, that at least whoever is making these decisions, the president, whomever, seems to be is going by public support rather than, maybe what his advisers are telling him to do.”
