Monday night in a debate televised on Lexington, KY PBS affiliate, Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Alison Lundergan Grimes squared off against incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Senate Majority Leader.
In that debate, once again, Grimes declined to respond to the question of whether she voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 or 2012, citing ballot privacy as her reason.
“I’m not going to compromise a constitutional right provided here in Kentucky in order to curry favor on one or other side or for members of the media,” Grimes said.
