House Judiciary Dem Cohen: ’80, 90%’ of the Committee Is ‘on Board’ with an Impeachment Inquiry

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” House Judiciary Committee member Steve Cohen (D-TN) stated that “80, 90%” of the membership of the House Judiciary Committee is “on board to go forward” with an impeachment inquiry.

Cohen said, “The Judiciary Committee as a whole is for at least an inquiry of impeachment. It’s been discussed by several members, and I don’t think any member — there might have been two members that were particularly close to Speaker Pelosi that kind of were not on board. But most — I’d say, 80, 90% of the committee’s on board to go forward.”
