Time for ‘civilized nations’ to unite to end Syria civil war: Mattis

Washington (United States) (AFP) – US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Friday called on the international community to “urgently” unite and bring an end to Syria’s civil war.

“It is time for all civilized nations to urgently unite in ending the Syrian civil war by supporting the United Nations backed Geneva peace process,” Mattis said.
