A woman and her stepmother allegedly beat a female driver unconscious in a road rage incident Tuesday, according to a video of the alleged attack.

The Daily Mail reports that police arrested Alicia Nikole Scarduzio, 20, and Shelley Lyn Gemberling, 49, and charged them with aggravated battery and burglary after another driver captured them on video allegedly attacking victim Emily Bailey.

Bailey told police that Scarduzio and Gemberling nearly ran her off the road while she was driving northbound on Little Road in Tampa, Florida, around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

She honked her horn back at the two women, but noticed the defendants pull up next to her at the red light.

“It was the longest red light of my life. They kept screaming at me, telling me they wanted to f***ing kill me. I just wanted the light to change,” Bailey told WFLA.

The victim said she frantically tried to close her window when she saw Scarduzio and Gemberling leave their vehicle to approach her.

Gemberling allegedly reached through the open window and grabbed Bailey’s throat while Scarduzio pulled her hair, the victim told police.

“I never thought they would get out of their car and run toward me and pull me out of my vehicle,” she said.

The video shows Bailey being brutally beaten as she lay unconscious on the ground.

Another driver who yelled at the alleged attackers to stop eventually intervened and put a stop to the attack.

Bailey suffered a broken nose, concussion, and bruises as a result of the attack.

Scarduzio and Gemberling refute Bailey’s side of the story, with Gemberling claiming that Bailey pushed her first.

Police did not arrest the women at the scene, but decided to make the arrest Wednesday night after they had more evidence.

Scarduzio and Gemberling are each being held on $50,000 bond at the Land O’Lakes Detention Center.
