On Tuesday, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown had some advice for fans looking to celebrate Tom Brady’s exit from the Patriots and the AFC East during the coronavirus shutdown.

Brown warned Buffalo Bills fans who are happy to be losing a tough opponent that they must keep the coronavirus protocols in mind and avoid bars and restaurants as they look to celebrate Brady’s departure.

“Just a reminder, bars and restaurants are open for takeout and delivery only. So for those of you that want to celebrate Tom Brady leaving the New England Patriots, and hopefully, leaving the AFC East, there are no mass gatherings,” Brown said at a press conference. “Celebrate responsibly, celebrate at home, and with less than 10 people present.”

The mayor reminded citizens of Buffalo that they must limit gatherings to no more than ten people.

The six-time winning Super Bowl quarterback announced on Tuesday that he is leaving the New England Patriots. A day later, Brady announced that he is signing a deal worth upwards to $30 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
