SHOCK: Arizona Paper Decries Border Fence as Too High for Mexicans to Safely Jump

A mainstream Arizona newspaper is decrying the small section of the Arizona-Mexico border that has a 14-foot-high primary fence because it is too high for illegal immigrants to safely cross. The article, “Border Fence Jumpers Breaking Bones,” includes the claim that sections of the border with a 14-foot-high fence are “as tall as a two or three-story house” and tells the stories of several women who broke bones and were treated extensively to healthcare and surgeries at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. The writer never mentions any lives directly lost as a result of there not being a border fence in most sections, such as when Mexican nationals crossed into the U.S. and murdered father and husband Robert Rosas, a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

However, details are unclear regarding how this center’s mission will differ significantly from the multiple fusion and joint intelligence centers located across the state, calling into question whether the $2.1 million start-up cost is justified.

The more than forty leaked images changed the shape of the discussion of illegal immigration and revealed a cover-up by the Department of Homeland Security as to the severity of the surge of Central American immigrants into the U.S. Media outlets from across the globe republished the photos and forced the Administration to admit what was happening in South Texas.

Can Rubio Get Past His Immigration Reform Folly?

The main issue that Americans have with Rubio for trying to move this Obama-sanction immigration reform bill, is not so much that the bill acted as a springboard for amnesty of millions of illegal aliens, but because it helped legitimize two of the most liberal, un-American U.S. Senators, Dick Durbin and Chuck Schumer, both of whom represent everything that Rubio stands against.

Bad Radio Coverage, Inadequate Training Hinder Border Patrol Operations and Agents’ Safety

A recent report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) indicates spotty radio coverage and inadequate training are challenging the agency’s ability to secure the southwest border and negatively affect agent safety. Aside from a firearm, a handheld radio is a Border Patrol agent’s best friend. Often finding themselves in remote areas of the border with untold armed drug and human smugglers nearby, agents need to be able to communicate with each other quickly and clearly.

Ted Cruz vs. Media’s Dark Art Of Highly Selective Fact-Checking

The exact number of agents working for the IRS is not relevant to either the joke Cruz was making, or the serious and legitimate point underlying it: the same government that pronounces itself utterly helpless to keep track of immigration scofflaws, or secure the border, is very aggressive about keeping tabs on law-abiding taxpayers.
