Planned Parenthood Announces Lawsuit Against Pro-Life Video Group: ‘Complex Criminal Enterprise’

Planned Parenthood’s national organization and its California affiliate have announced a federal lawsuit against the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the pro-life group that produced a series of videos last summer exposing the abortion business’s apparent practices of selling the body parts of aborted babies and altering the position of babies during abortion in order to harvest their intact organs.

Ad Charging Planned Parenthood Betrays Women Appears in Times Square

Students for Life of America is running an ad that sends a message that Planned Parenthood betrays women. The ad began Wednesday and will run for one week, looping every hour daily from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of 1500 Broadway and 43rd St. in the heart of Times Square.

GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski: I’m ‘Supporter of Planned Parenthood’

Sen. Lisa Murkowski is one of four Republican senators whose votes will be key in the defunding of Planned Parenthood that is included in the House budget package. The measure is expected to be voted on under the rules of reconciliation, a budgetary process whereby no filibuster in the Senate is permitted, but Republicans will need the required 51 votes to approve the package.

Perhaps knowing her supporters are likely those for whom government freebies – rather than moral character and integrity – are highly valued, Hillary Clinton – without even being asked about the Planned Parenthood baby body parts scandal – let everyone know she stands with the nation’s largest abortion provider, the organization that is under congressional investigation for apparently altering abortion procedures in order to salvage high-priced baby organs for sale.

Cecile Richards: ‘Abortion is Healthcare’

Stating on numerous occasions that she was trying to be as cooperative as possible with the committee, Cecil Richards nevertheless evaded some questions about Planned Parenthood’s abortion business, often responding she “did not know” the answer to questions a CEO might be expected to know. At one point, as Live Action president Lila Rose tweeted, she was asked if babies who survive abortions should be given medical care, Richards replied, “I have never heard of such a circumstance happening.”
