China’s state-run Global Times said on Thursday that Chinese “netizens” are greatly enjoying the chaotic aftermath of Tuesday’s U.S. election, trading numerous jokes and puns at the expense of both President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

China: U.S. ‘Is Not Stable, Civilized’ Anymore

The Global Times, a newspaper owned by the Chinese state, lamented on Wednesday that the extended vote-counting process in America proved the country is “not synonymous to a stable, civilized, and consensus-based society anymore.”

Chinese Media Threaten to Bomb Taiwan’s U.S.-Made Weapons

China’s state-run Global Times issued the latest denunciation of U.S. arms sales to Taiwan on Tuesday, adding a threat to deliver the “ultimate warning” by sending the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to “destroy” the weapons Taiwan purchased from America.

Chinese State Media: China Must Prepare for War

China must “be prepared” for war amid escalating territorial conflicts with neighboring countries that have increased the risk of military conflict in recent months, the Chinese Communist Party newspaper Global Times argued on Friday.
