(AFP) — Global healthcare charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said Friday it has suspended medical support in northern Mozambique following an attack by Islamist militants last week.
International humanitarian group Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), better known in the United States by the English version of its name “Doctors Without Borders,” issued a statement on Wednesday announcing that it received 146 complaints about sexual harassment and abuse against its staff in 2017. The group took action on 24 cases and fired 19 of its employees.
