Since his first day in the Oval Office, Joe Biden has done everything in his power to implement fanciful leftist ideals that pander to his base – and ultimately hurt the people he took an oath to defend. Under the guise of fighting the “climate change crisis,” this administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced a rule that seeks to eliminate nearly all the country’s natural gas and coal-fired power plant’s carbon emissions over the next two decades.

Modern history provides troubling proof that loss of liberty is preceded by disarmament of citizens. This week, the most obvious example is right before our eyes as we watch the Cuban people pleading for freedom.

Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary under President George W. Bush, endorsed President Donald Trump’s reelection in an op-ed in the Hill published Thursday.

As the freshman senator from Utah, Mitt Romney is a long way from the presidency. That has to be especially tough on a two-time presidential loser with You-Know-Who sitting in the Oval Office, a guy who took the brass ring by doing the exact opposite of what you did.

If the “senior official” who published an anonymous op-ed bashing President Donald Trump in the New York Times on Wednesday was hoping for accolades from the opposition, he or she must have been sorely disappointed, as the media’s leftists and Never Trumpers accused the author of cowardice for failing to take the extra step of removing Trump altogether.

If the “senior official” were a true patriot, or even just an “adult in the room,” he or she would resign in protest. Instead, the author chooses to keep a prestigious job and generous paycheck, while helping the New York Times take down the president.

Professor Amy Wax of the University of Pennsylvania Law School claims that a controversial op-ed she penned for a local paper last August ruined her progressive colleague’s summer break.

“I would never presume to understand anything going on with that individual nor would I think that she could presume what’s going on with me or the way that I am responding,” Sanders replied when questioned by reporters.

Politics has a nasty habit of trumping good policy. In the case of so-called sanctuary cities, it also manages to overwhelm our otherwise well-honed commitment to the rule of law.

You’re probably heard the criticism of Ambassador John Bolton by the left that he would not be a good choice to be the next Secretary of State because Bolton was an architect of the Iraq War and a hawk who has little use for diplomacy.

Susan Collins, like the rest of the NeverTrump faction, is about preening, not principle. She would rather cede the White House, and the Supreme Court, than endure Trump’s poor taste. That is pure, elitist vanity.

Throughout the past year, several op-eds appearing in California publications promoted the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, but the Huffington Post is reporting that several of those op-eds use identical language from lobbyists who were retained by foreign governments, specifically Japan, to push support for the controversial trade agreement in the United States.
