Palestinian Authority Claims Cutting Funds Over ‘Pay-for-Slay’ Will Result in Anarchy

TEL AVIV – The Palestinian Authority has warned that Israel’s decision to implement legislation to cut off funding to the PA over its so-called pay-for-slay scheme will result in anarchy in the West Bank, with PA President Mahmoud Abbas saying that if Israel deducts even “one penny” from tax monies owed to the PA, the PA would not accept the money transfers.

Gov. Ron DeSantis and the State Board of Administration voted Tuesday to sanction Airbnb for its decision not to list properties in Israeli settlements in the West Bank. The vote made Airbnb the first American company to be placed on a “scrutinized” list of businesses that boycott Israel.

TEL AVIV – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday ordered state officials to boycott Airbnb when conducting state business and said he would make the vacation rental giant “feel the heat” unless it walks back its decision banning rentals in Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
