Who just appeared in a Super Bowl ad for pistachios?

Why, it’s PSY, the South Korean performer whose YouTube video has the most hits in history (more than 900 million); the same guy who performed at the White House in December; and most importantly, the singer who once penned a song he performed calling for the slaughter of American soldiers and their families with lyrics like these:

Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers

Kill them all slowly and painfully

The response on Twitter was immediate, with tweets like these:
