On Friday, FoxNews.com reported that Muslim scholar Reza Aslan, author of the controversial book Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, has a history of contentious fights on Twitter. In 2012, he ripped into Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch, after Spencer criticized his perspective on Islam: “Dear Robert Spencer. Stop begging for my attention. I’ll never take U seriously. P.S. I don’t think UR fat & gay. I think UR fat & stupid.”
