Illegal Immigrant Convicted of Manslaughter Caught in Texas

U.S. Border Patrol Agents arrested a Mexican national previously convicted of manslaughter at the Texas border.

On September 15, in Uvalde, Texas, U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested Jose M. Torres-Hernandez, 58, while conducting a train sweep discovering he was illegally in the United States. Per U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) protocol, he was transferred to the Uvalde station for processing. Hernandez was flagged with a conviction of manslaughter in Fort Pierce, Florida in 1994 and was then removed from the country, a records check revealed.

In response to the apprehension of this illegal immigrant, Acting Chief Patrol Agent Matthew J. Hudak of the Del Rio Sector said: “Multiple criminal aliens capable of causing more harm to the citizens of the United States have attempted to illegally enter our country … The agents within our sector are committed to the apprehension of criminals such as these in an effort to keep our communities safe.”

Torres-Hernandez is being processed for illegal re-entry after deportation and is expected to removed again.

Re-entry of previously deported illegal immigrants with violent criminal backgrounds is a routine occurrence for CBP as previously reported by Breitbart Texas:

Eleven previously deported criminal aliens have been sentenced to jail time for illegal re-entry into the U.S. after Border Patrol agents arrested them. The agents saved American citizens from the possibility of repeated violent acts by the aggravated felons. The sentences were handed down by a federal judge in Arizona over a three day period.

Border Patrol agents routinely capture violent and sex-offending criminal aliens who have been previously deported and are attempting to re-enter the United States. Dozens of these captures have been previously reported by Breitbart Texas.
