Denied Satanic Prayer in Florida Is Stirring Up Controversy

According to a report from ClickOrlando, a controversy in Lake County, FL is brewing around one man’s request for a satanic prayer before a recent county commission meeting.

Chaz Stevens is calling the denial of his satanic prayer “discriminatory.”

An email from the county says it rejected the request because Stevens, who lives in Jupiter, FL does not live in Lake County. Lake County Commission Chairman Jimmy Conner said he would still not allow the prayer, even if Stevens moved to Lake County.

Liberty Counsel, who recently defended Kentucky court clerk Kim Davis, has offered up its services to defend Lake County in court.
