DNC Chair Brazile Disputes Obama’s Claim He Stopped That Russian Hacks

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” the interim chairman of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile disputed President Barack Obama’s claim that in September when he told Russian president Vladimir Putin to “cut it out,” the Russians stopped their hacking intended to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.

When asked about Obama’s claim, Brazile said, “No, they did not stop. They came after us absolutely every day until the end of the election. They tried to hack into our system repeatedly. We put up the very best cyber security, what I call infrastructure to stop them. But they constantly came after us.”
