Scarborough Rips Wall Street Journal for Report Intel Community Is Withholding Info From Trump

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough criticized the Wall Street Journal for its report alleging some intelligence agencies were withholding information and tactics from President Donald Trump

“By the way, we just have to say this right now to people who are watching and are trying to sort through this — there is no doubt the Wall Street Journal has gone from being the most hostile conservative voice towards Donald Trump during the campaign to certainly now seeming to bend over backwards to actually parrot much of what the administration puts out,” Scarborough said.

Scarborough began his critique by noting a Journal editorial from a day earlier that downplayed Mike Flynn’s resignation. Scarborough said the Journal’s editorial board had gone from “hyper-critical” during the campaign to less so now that Trump is president.

“It was as if Donald Trump had written the editorial himself,” he added.

As for the report itself, Scarborough deemed it “extraordinarily thin,” and “thinly sourced.”
