OK, let’s get ready to rumble and stop all the polite bullshit. We all know that this is happening. We all know that the Jews, Christians, and the West are under attack by two forces – radical Islam and the American left.
The great David Horowitz wrote a book dealing with this, and if you haven’t read it, you must. Also, Oriana Fallaci in her book , The Force of Reason, mapped out what is happening.
We have a President and his allies of the left who have emboldened the terrorist movement and gravely undermined law enforcement.
President Barack Obama’s inability to face the American people and the world to define and denounce the radical element of Islam gives me pause. And the complacency of his whole political party is, by its silence, committing an act of treason.
By not demanding that its leader do what’s best for the American way of life, all will be held accountable. America’s best interests, and therefore the world’s, are not being protected.
When there is imminent danger to a way of life, and there is a movement by individuals that wish to overthrow that way of life, then those individuals who purposely refuse to define that threat due to misguided political correctness or differing worldview, we must concur, an act of complacency is being perpetrated.
I have been writing about the danger of not calling things what they are for years, but no one gives a damn. I mentioned that there are areas in England that are under Sharia jurisdiction. This is a total disaster.
I have continually written about how important it is for our immigrant population to assimilate. This is the catastrophe of Europe. I have spoken about the danger of closing Guantanamo Bay, about how New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio stopped the surveillance of mosques in New York, the same technique which was OK to use against Italians for years.
The White House is compliant, and no one is willing to call the Commander in Chief out on it.
We have a dumbed-down populace. We all politely go about our way and watch the next episode of “Celebrity Jerkoff.” I am sick of the left in Hollywood who have their heads so far up their own asses that they are unable to see what is really happening or even care.
Look what just happened at Sony. Do you not think there is a connection?
The only leader that has any balls today appears to be Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. I will give what he said New Year’s Day in full. He is the only leader to have spoken the truth. He gave the most important speech given by an Arab leader in years, and this deserves a Noble peace prize and the attention of the entire world. But I ask you, how many of you have heard of this speech?
Speaking before Al-Azhar and the Awqaf Ministry on New Year’s Day, 2015, and in connection to Prophet Muhammad’s upcoming birthday, al-Sisi, a vocal supporter for a renewed vision of Islam, made what must be his most forceful and impassioned plea to date on the subject.
Among other things, al-Sisi said that the “corpus of [Islamic] texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years” are “antagonizing the entire world”; that it is not “possible that 1.6 billion people [reference to the world’s Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants—that is 7 billion—so that they themselves may live”; and that Egypt (or the Islamic world in its entirety) “is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost—and it is being lost by our own hands.”
The relevant excerpt from Sisi’s speech follows (translation by Michele Antaki):
I am referring here to the religious clerics. We have to think hard about what we are facing—and I have, in fact, addressed this topic a couple of times before. It’s inconceivable that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire umma[Islamic world] to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible!
That thinking—I am not saying “religion” but “thinking”—that corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the centuries, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. It’s antagonizing the entire world!
Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants—that is 7 billion—so that they themselves may live? Impossible!
I am saying these words here at Al Azhar, before this assembly of scholars and ulema—Allah Almighty be witness to your truth on Judgment Day concerning that which I’m talking about now.
All this that I am telling you, you cannot feel it if you remain trapped within this mindset. You need to step outside of yourselves to be able to observe it and reflect on it from a more enlightened perspective.
I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move… because this umma is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost—and it is being lost by our own hands.
Note: It is unclear if in the last instance of umma Sisi is referring to Egypt (“the nation”) or if he is using it in the pan-Islamic sense as he did initially to refer to the entire Islamic world.
