Atlanta rapper Young Thug was arrested Wednesday on felony charges of making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to shoot a local mall security guard in the face.

The rapper, real name Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was arrested at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, by U.S. Marshals, according to People magazine.

Dunwoody police spokesman Timothy Fecht told the magazine that Williams was riding a two-wheeled scooter around the local Perimeter Mall on July 7 when he was asked by security guards to stop. After the guards reportedly found him “uncooperative and rude,” they asked him to leave.

Fecht told People that Williams became angry and “made statements to a mall security guard that he was going to shoot him in the face.”

Police then issued an arrest warrant for Williams on charges of making “terroristic threats.”

He was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to enter a plea to the charges.

Young Thug’s legal troubles may just be beginning. On Thursday, the rapper was named, but not charged, in an indictment related to an April incident in which fellow rapper Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot at following a performance in Atlanta. Nobody was injured in that incident.
