‘Yellowjackets’ survivors return home in Season 4 teaser trailer

Oct. 14 (UPI) — Showtime is giving a glimpse of Yellowjackets Season 4.

The network shared a teaser trailer for the show’s fourth and final season Wednesday featuring Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Thatcher.

Yellowjackets is a survival thriller created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The series follows the titular Yellowjackets, a girls’ soccer team stranded in the wilderness after a plane crash.

Taking place between two timelines — immediately following the crash in 1996 and in the aftermath 25 years later — the show explores the team’s fight to survive and their lingering trauma as adults.

The cast includes Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Nelisse as older and younger versions of Shauna, Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher as older and younger Natalie, Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown as older and younger Taissa, and Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty as older and younger Misty.

The Season 4 teaser shows the survivors face a “final reckoning” as they return home.

“As the survivors race to bury their sins before rescue arrives and an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own, turns out not every homecoming is a joyous one, and this one’s going to sting,” an official synopsis reads.

Yellowjackets was announced to end with Season 4 in October 2025.

Season 4 premieres Nov. 20 on Paramount+ with Showtime.
