Mitch McConnell on Hillary Clinton: 'We're Good Friends'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that he and Hillary Clinton are “good friends,” acknowledging that it is typical for her to campaign for Democratic candidates in the mid-terms, as she is likely gearing up for a presidential bid.

Grimes revealed that she was a delegate for Hillary Clinton at the 2008 Democratic Convention.

McConnell added that even though national Democrats, such as the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), are pulling their financial backing from the race, it’s clear they have not given up trying to unseat him in November.
