Out of Touch: Hillary Eats Burrito While Traveling With Others In a Van

490DEM 2016 Clinton

Do we really want a president who is so out of touch and thoughtless that she thinks it is appropriate to eat a burrito while traveling across the country with four others in a van?

During the first day of Hillary Clinton’s two-day, 965 road trip from New York to Iowa, The New York Times Maggie Haberman couldn’t stop gushing over the fact that Ms. Clinton stopped at Chipotle for a chicken burrito bowl.

Saying she was tipped off about the stop (probably from a Clinton campaign eager to show how real their candidate is) Haberman was practically breathless about the Chipotle scoop:

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign is all about “everyday Americans,” she made clear in announcing it on Sunday.

On Monday, she showed how unassuming she herself could be. …

Maybe it was the dark sunglasses. Or maybe she had a certain je ne sais — qui?

In all her excitement, Haberman (who swears she’s not a plant from the Hillary Clinton campaign disguising herself as a New York Times reporter who rabidly supports Hillary Clinton) failed to point out that after Clinton ate said burrito, she got back in the van with two aides and two Secret Service agents.

Ms. Clinton, who probably hasn’t driven a car in decades, and most certainly hasn’t lived outside of her velvet Washington DC bubble in almost a quarter century, is so out of touch with the real world that she thinks it is appropriate to wolf down a burrito while sealed in a small luxury vehicle with four innocent people.

Haberman is aware of the term je ne sais quoi, but seems unwilling to report on a Clinton faux pas.

There are many unwritten rules of the road, chief among them, “If you eat a burrito, you ride alone.”
