Kentucky Man Marvin Gee Charged with Encouraging Cop Killings on Craigslist

Kentucky State Police announced the arrest of a man they charge with advertising on Craigslist for the murder of area police officers.

On Friday, State Police Lieutenant Jason Newby, Trooper Billy Over, and the Hopkinsville, Kentucky Police Department charge that Marvin Gee, 44, was encouraging people to begin killing cops on sites like Craigslist.

Police report that Gee was charged with solicitation for murder of a police officer, a Class B felony that could bring 20 years.

Gee is held in the Christian County jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
