Oklahoma state superintendent Ryan Walters said Tuesday that every high school in the state will have a Turning Point USA Club America chapter.

Turning Point USA was co-founded by Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated at the first stop of his “American Comeback Tour” at Utah Valley University on September 10. The mission of Turning Point USA high school chapters is to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government, according to the organization’s website.

“We will be putting TPUSA on every high school campus in Oklahoma. Charlie Kirk inspired a generation to love America, to speak boldly, and to never shy away from debate. Our kids must get involved and active,” Walters said in a news release. “We will fight back against the liberal propaganda, pushed by the radical left, and the teachers union. Our fight starts now.”

Turning Point USA has reported a massive surge in chapter requests for high schools and colleges across the nation following Kirk’s horrific public murder and his record-breaking memorial, which is estimated to have been watched by more than 100 million people.

“After Sunday’s memorial for Charlie, TPUSA received a massive surge of inquiries to start new chapters,” Turning Point USA’s national spokesperson, Andrew Kolvet, said in a post to X on Tuesday.

“Pre-Sunday: We had around 60,000 inquiries. Post-Sunday: We are now at over 120,000 inquiries,” he said. “Even accounting for attrition and duplicates, we are on the cusp of having a TPUSA or Club America chapter in every HS and College campus in America.”

There are several Turning Point USA chapters in Oklahoma, including at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Walters said in his press release that students who are interested in starting a chapter at their high school will need at least three students from the same school and will have to complete the official “Chapter Charter Agreement.”

“From there, TPUSA will help chapters gain official recognition or registration from their school, connect student leaders with a dedicated field representative to serve as a liaison between the school and TPUSA, assist in securing a teacher sponsor, and provide sample constitutions and bylaws where required by school policy,” the press release reads. “Chapters will also receive valuable benefits, including an Activism Kit filled with pins, pocket Constitutions, handbooks, and other materials; access to leadership positions and exclusive event ideas to grow their impact; and ongoing guidance and mentorship to ensure student leaders succeed in building a strong campus presence.”

Walters previously called on Oklahoma schools to honor Kirk after his assassination by holding a moment of silence. Several districts opted out, saying they already hold moments of silence every morning for students to use how they see fit, KOCO reported. The state Department of Education is reportedly investigating claims that a dozen school district did not observe the moment of silence for 31-year-old Kirk.
