Sanctuary Cities Releasing 1,000 Criminal Aliens Per Month

As Senate Republicans prepare to take on cities that do not comply with federal immigration authorities, the Center for Immigration Studies reveals that the approximately 340 so-called sanctuary cities in the U.S. have been releasing about 1,000 criminal aliens, combined, monthly.

Immigration Expert: McCaul’s House Border Security Bill ‘An Empty Green Suit’

Jessica Vaughan, Director of Policy at the Center Immigration Studies calls the border security bill proposed by Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX) that will be considered by the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday “an empty green suit.” Vaughan noted that McCaul’s bill, “proposes to spend $10 billion of taxpayer money without ensuring that a single illegal alien will be sent home.”

Report: Released Immigrant Detainees Eligible For Work Permits

A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies, obtained in advance by Breitbart News, argues that under President Obama’s executive amnesty certain undocumented immigrants are being released from detention facilities and are eligible for work permits. As Breitbart News reported late last year, from the November announcement to the end of 2014, ICE released more than 600 detained immigrants from custody.
