EPA Fails to Acknowledge It Coerced Mine Owner to Grant Access

The Environmental Protection Agency isn’t responding to claims by Todd Hennis, owner of the Gold King mine in Colorado that the agency coerced him to grant access to his property. Once taking over, of course, EPA’s incompetent attempts to remove debris created a massive 3 million gallon toxic waste spill from the mine.

EPA Coal Rule Skirts Law: 10 Percent of Comments From Obama’s OFA

But while the EPA itself causes actual pollution, it’s also attempting to subvert the administrative law rule-making process. Political insiders are working to generate millions of astroturfed comments from Barack Obama’s former Presidential campaign operation, now called Organizing for America, and left wing environmental groups. The latest instance of this propaganda operation was seen in the rule making process that resulted in the recently finalized “Carbon Pollution Emission Guidelines for Existing Stationary Sources: Electric Utility Generating Units” rule.

EPA Causes Massive Hazardous Spill in West

The timing of the dangerous spill caused by the EPA, one that would quite possibly result in criminal charges had it been caused by a private firm, is not good for the EPA. Last week, the agency finalized a carbon dioxide emission regulation for coal power plants that at least 16 states are already challenging in court, claiming it is both draconian and not based on any statutory authority.

EPA Causes Toxic Spill into Colorado River

Some of the major rivers and lakes of the Southwest, including the Colorado River, the San Juan River and Lake Powell, may turn polluted and dangerous after the Environmental Protection Agency badly managed a cleanup crew on Wednesday that was trying to drain water containing metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, aluminum, and copper from the Gold King Mine.

EPA’s Clean Power Plan Hammers Republicans, Spares Democrats

The EPA’s final Clean Power Plan, released on August 3, financially hammers coal-dependent states, compared to the Obama Administration’s 2014 draft proposal. Nine months after the loss of Kentucky Democrat Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes and the retirement of West Virginia Democrat Jay Rockefeller, the EPA’s attack on coal country is all about going after Republicans.

Report: Detailed Evidence of ‘Cozy Relationships,’ Secret Meetings Between Obama Admin and Environmental Activists

One day after President Obama released new environmental regulations for power plant emissions, the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) released a detailed report of its “unprecedented” findings of the “inner-workings” of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), suggesting the EPA and the White House were all too “cozy” with environmental activists.

Jerry Brown Welcomes Obama’s Coal Crackdown

California Gov. Jerry Brown welcomed President Barack Obama’s “Clean Power Plan,” a new set of environmental regulations to cut down what the administration calls “carbon pollution.” The goal is to cut national carbon dioxide emissions 32% from 2005 levels by 2030.

Regulatory Capture: Left-Wing Activists Write EPA Talking Points

When activists conspire with like-minded bureaucrats to impose mutually agreeable compulsive agendas on the rest of the public, the arrangement is every bit as corrupt as any crude payoff scheme. The result is the same: a conspiracy against the public interest, for the benefit of a powerful few.

Supreme Court Slows Obama ‘War on Coal’

“One would not say that it is even rational, never mind ‘appropriate,’ to impose billions of dollars in economic costs in return for a few dollars in health or environmental benefits,” writes Justice Antonin Scalia for the majority that included Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

Will 2015 Be the Year of Renewable Fuel Standard Reform?

That the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee attacks the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) management—er, mismanagement—of the federal renewable fuel standard (RFS) indicates the growing frustration over both the agency and the RFS itself.

EPA Tells Kids to Avoid Baths and Asks them to Check Toilets for Leaks

Parents across America who struggle to keep their young rambunctious kids clean now have a new obstacle: the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

As part of its effort to help save the planet from the dangers of taking too many baths, EPA’s WaterSense program is trying to convince kids they should avoid bathtubs in favor of showers, which it says is a far more efficient use of water.

Obama: Cut Carbon or Your Kids Will Die of Asthma

President Obama has made a not-so-subtle attempt to personalise his administration’s war on “climate change” by linking it with his daughter Malia’s asthma. Nice try, Mr President. But the evidence just doesn’t stack up. While it’s true that the CDC

Brown Blasts Republicans on Climate–but Silent on His Oil Fortune

Potential Democratic Presidential candidate Gov. Jerry Brown told NBC News’ Meet the Press on Sunday that a letter that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) sent to all 50 governors urging them to block or ignore the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed carbon pollution regulations was “a disgrace.” Brown is somewhat of a hypocrite on the issue, because his family’s wealth reportedly comes from control of two huge imported oil trading firm.

Jerry Brown Calls Ted Cruz ‘Unfit to Be Running for Office’

California Governor Jerry Brown blasted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on NBC News’ Meet the Press on Sunday for his recent comments on climate change, calling the Tea Party favority “unfit to run for office.” Cruz had challenged late night host Seth Myers’ assertion that 2014 had been the “hottest year on record,” arguing that the data on temperature told a different story. Meet the Press host Chuck Todd played the clip for Brown, who responded by calling Cruz “unfit to run for office.”
