Hillary Clinton says gun companies should be held legally “accountable” in the same way that toy companies are held liable for products that occasionally harm children.
“If toy companies are held accountable for endangering our kids, gun makers should be too. Let’s end their immunity,” Clinton tweeted.

Clinton is locked in a divisive battle with Bernie Sanders in the New York primary, where a Sanders win would mark his eighth victory in nine contests. Sanders is still capable of holding Clinton to less than the 2,383 delegates she needs to win the nomination on the first ballot. Then Sanders can win on the second at the convention.
Clinton only has 1,756 delegates right now to Sanders’ 1,068.
