According to local news, Denver gun shops are reporting an escalating number of gun buys and safety courses after this weekend’s Wisconsin shooting at the Sikh temple and the Colorado theater massacre a few weeks ago.

Applications for conceal and carry permits have skyrocketed in both Arapahoe and Douglas County. Women have been particularly heavy applicants. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says that background checks were up by 41 percent as opposed to last year.

While Democrats across the country mull ways to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, law-abiding citizens are doing everything in their power to acquire weapons to protect and defend themselves as fast as possible.
