Tuesday at a news conference with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk from Kiev, Vice President Joe Biden pledged support for Ukraine and emphasized that United States does not recognize Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
Biden declared, “Ukraine is and must remain one country,” adding, “No nation has the right to simply grab land from another nation, no nation has that right, and we will never recognize Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea.”
