“A lot of them [Republicans] who are running are just like the Democrats ... They put the finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing” he said.
He urged conservatives to “stop worrying so much about what the press is going to say about you ... what I say is if those people aren’t saying bad things about you, you probably aren’t doing anything.”
Carson added that he was “extremely aware” at the level of attacks that he will face if he decides to run for president in 2016, but that he was also aware of the danger of staying silent.
“I am simply not going to fall into the trap of tit for tat, I will simply continue to talk about the things that need to be done, I will point out to people what they [the Left] are doing and they will do,” he declared.
