New Planned Parenthood Video: Parents Didn’t Know Baby Organs Were Sold

The latest video from the Center for Medical Progress is not an undercover sting operation, but rather an interview with former blood and tissue procurement technician Holly O’Donnell, who worked for a biotech company called StemExpress.

StemExpress has been referenced in several previous videos as the primary customer for tissue and organs harvested from children aborted at Planned Parenthood clinics. In this video, O’Donnell alleges that such harvesting was often undertaken without the knowledge or consent of the pregnant women.

O’Donnell says that the pressure from her employers to procure valuable fetal tissue made her mission to harvest organs not an “option,” but a “demand.” She charges that techs working Planned Parenthood clinics didn’t always take the time to actually make that demand of the abortion mill’s clients: “If there was a higher gestation, and the technicians needed it, there were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”

In fact, O’Donnell went even further and described the harvesting of baby parts against the explicit instructions of at least one pregnant woman she worked with.

This would be a violation of both Planned Parenthood’s oft-repeated insistence that its procedures are always performed with the full knowledge and consent of pregnant women… and federal law stipulating that such consent must be obtained.

O’Donnell describes the clinics she worked with as grim and “morbid” environments that “really wore me down.”  She said “you could hear screaming, you could hear crying” from inside the clinics.

The operation described by this whistleblower is ruthlessly efficient, with Planned Parenthood giving the harvesters advance notice of busy abortion days, and even offering a heads-up when women were merely seeking pregnancy tests. “Some women come in, they do a test, and you find out they’re pregnant… then you can consent them.  Pregnancy tests are potential pregnancies, therefore potential specimens,” she explained. “So it’s just taking advantage of the opportunities.”

That’s the kind of hard sell that would make a used-care salesman blush. O’Donnell describes abortion procedures performed with equal aggression, describing one doctor who worked so fast that tissue-harvesting technicians had to watch him carefully, lest valuable organs be lost. She also found this doctor’s eagerness to perform abortion procedures unsettling, and says she wrestled with the urge to warn pregnant women away from using the clinic.

O’Donnell also had qualms about pushing for organ-harvesting consent from women in distress, but says her co-workers had no such reservations. She described one woman she refused to push for consent, because the patient was physically ill and vomiting from abortion medications… but the next day, other technicians apparently began the process of taking blood samples and preparing to harvest the fetus without the mother’s knowledge.

“The women I worked for were… cold. They don’t care,” O’Donnell recalled. “They just wanted their money. They didn’t care that a girl was throwing up in the trash can, and crying… and even, there were times to when the patients would ask me, they would come in and be crying and say, ‘Should I do this? Should I be doing this?'”

“Experiences like Holly O’Donnell’s show that Planned Parenthood’s abortion and baby parts business is not a safe place where vulnerable women can be cared for, but a harvesting ground for saleable human ‘product.’ Taxpayer subsidies to Planned Parenthood’s barbaric abortion business should be revoked immediately, and law enforcement and other elected officials must act decisively to determine the full extent of Planned Parenthood’s offensive practices and hold them accountable to the law,” said CMP project lead David Daleiden.
