At 12:18 a.m. on May 4th Sacramento police received “a burglary in progress” call and arrived on the scene two minutes later to find two suspects dead “inside the home.”
According to the Sacramento Bee, the home is in North Sacramento and the couple that lives there “were familiar to law enforcement because they were repeated victims of break-ins.”
When police arrived they found the two suspects’ bodies and determined that “one of the home’s occupants confronted the would-be burglars with a weapon and fired.”
It was not clear whether the suspects were armed.
