Valve has updated the refund policy for PC gaming service Steam. Gamers can return items bought less than two weeks ago as long as they have not played them for longer than two hours.

The new policy reads “you can request a refund for nearly any purchase on Steam – for any reason.” Refund requests can be made at help.steampowered.com.

Valve will grant refunds “within a week of approval” via Steam Wallet or however the user has paid for the item. In-game purchases can also be returned, but within a two-day window, and provided gamers have not used, altered, or traded them. However, purchases affiliated with Steam but sold by a third party will not always be refundable.
