The contrast in leadership styles between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has tended to favor the latter. However, there is one area in which Obama has bested his rival ally: fashion. More precisely, it is Michelle Obama that has trumped Sara Netanyahu, according to the media.
The Jerusalem Post reports that the Israeli press is in an uproar over a largely see-through, skin-tight, black lace blouse that Mrs. Netanyahu wore on a TV program. Verdict: “Sara Netanyahu is no Michelle Obama.”
It is possible to list many Michelle Obama fashion errors–the U.S. media is “wee-wee’d up” over her hair–but she has tended to avoid see-through styles. Just as her husband has avoided transparency of the other kind.
