US Civil Rights Commission Official: Illegal Immigration Hurts Low-Income Black Americans

Peter Kirsanow, an official with the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, said that illegal immigration was a large factor in the decline in the labor force participation rate of blacks on Monday’s edition of “The Laura Ingraham Show.” Kirsanow further stated that USCRC figures show that increased immigration has a disproportionately negative impact on the wages and employment of low-income and black workers.

Later in the interview, Kirsanow said that these concerns regarding immigration were expressed to President Barack Obama and Congressional Black Caucus Chair Marcia Fudge (D-OH), but have been ignored.
