Blumenthal Calls for Gun Bills in Wake of Santa Barbara Shooting

Sunday on on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said after Friday’s deadly shooting near the University of California-Santa Barbara he is planing to revisit gun control and mental health measures in the Senate.

Blumenthal lead the failed legislation after the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, CT on December 14, 2012. Blumenthal said, “It seemed like we were on the verge of legislation that would stop the madness.”
