Rams Running Back Todd Gurley Says NFL Lockout Possible to Get Guaranteed Contracts in League

Los Angeles Rams star running back Todd Gurley said NFL players could strike if they cannot get the league to guarantee contracts.

TMZ Sports asked the 2017 All Pro what it would take for the NFL to offer every player a guaranteed contract, and Gurley replied, “Lockout a couple years.”

In 2017, NFL Players Union President Eric Winston said a lockout was “inevitable” in 2021, when the 10-year collective bargaining agreement expires.
