Corker: If Saudi Arabia Murdered Khashoggi, ‘They Need To Pay a Large Price’

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper,” Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-TN) stated that if Saudi Arabia is responsible for murdering Washington Post writer Jamal Khashoggi, “they need to a pay large price for that, a very large price.”

Corker said that it is “likely” that Khashoggi has been murdered and all the evidence he’s seen points to the Saudis being involved.

Corker later added, “[I]f, in fact, they did order his execution, obviously, we — they need to a pay large price for that, a very large price.”
