Wednesday on MSNBC, network host Andrea Mitchell criticized President Donald Trump for not taking action against Saudi Arabia over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Mitchell said, “For Donald Trump, human rights is apparently a just matter of dollars and cents. The president is making it perfectly clear that the murder and dismemberment of an American resident and a Washington Post journalist does not add up compared to the billions, the billions he is claiming that the Saudis are providing even though that is not the case.”
She added, “I have to tell you that yesterday was just gobsmacking absorbing the impact of what he and Mike Pompeo said, ‘You know it is a nasty world out there,’ and ignoring the intelligence community.”
