Whitaker: I Think Mueller Investigation ‘Close to Being Completed’

During a briefing on Monday, Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker stated that he thinks Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is “close to being completed.”

Whitaker said he has “been fully briefed on the investigation.”

He later added, “[T]he investigation is, I think, close to being completed. And I hope that we can get the report from Director Mueller as soon as we — as possible.”
