During an interview broadcast on Friday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” President Trump said that he would “love to have” former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), or former Representative Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) as his Democratic opponent in 2020.
Host Maria Bartiromo asked, “You want to run against Beto?”
Trump answered, “I wouldn’t mind. I mean, I’d love to have Biden. I’d love to have Bernie. I’d love to have Beto. I mean, Beto seems to be the one that the press has chosen. The press seems to have chosen Beto.”
