Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan has announced she may run for president of the United States in 2020.

The actress, 29, shared the news on her Instagram Friday, where she gave a shout out to Kanye West, who announced his presidential bid in August, and thanked President Obama for inspiring us all to “be better people.”

“In #2020 I may run for president. Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this @kanyewest #truespirits thank you for inspiring us to be better people @barackobama #kanyewest2020,” she wrote.

In a separate post, Lohan sounded more like a candidate for Miss America when she said the first thing she would do as POTUS would be to “take care of all the children suffering in the world.”

Presidential candidates must be at least 35 years old, per the United States Constitution, so Lohan would be pushing it at just 34.

If the American people can get past her scorecard of run-ins with law enforcement, multiple stints in rehab for drugs and alcohol, or her defamation lawsuit against Fox News more recently, Lohan’s bid for the White House looks promising, depending on how you define promising.

Lohan publicly endorsed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney for several weeks during his presidential election campaign in 2012, but later flip-flopped and tweeted supportive words of Obama.

The actress eventually deleted her tweet about Obama and was criticized for changing her political views.

Should she be elected in 2020, Lohan would become the youngest president in U.S. history, as well as the first president to contract a virus called chikungunya and be accused of shoplifting.
