The Hill columnist Judy Kurtz asked several cast members of the hit Netflix series “House of Cards” who they are supporting for president.

Elizabeth Marvel, who plays Heather Dunbar, a Democratic candidate for the fictional 2016 presidential election, said, “I’m a Democrat. Honestly, I would be very happy with Hillary or Bernie Sanders. I feel very fortunate to be a Democrat this year.”

“I don’t know if America is ready for a woman,” Marvel added, “I think Americans still want a daddy.”

Paul Sparks, who plays biographer Tom Yates for Kevin Spacey’s character Frank Underwood, said, “It’s going to be hard for me not to vote for a woman.”

Derick Cecil, who is White House Director Of Communications on “House of Cards,” said he is “baffled” by Donald Trump’s winning.

“Yeah, I know who I’m supporting,” Cecil said. “But I’ve been a Democrat for a very long time.”

Longtime actress and “House of Cards” newcomer Neve Campbell said she’s supporting Sanders.

Actor Nathan Darrow, who play a Secret Service agent, said, “I don’t have a political party. I’ve voted for Democrats and Republicans. So I don’t know yet.”

Jayne Atkinson, who plays U.S. secretary of state, said, “I think both Bernie and Hillary are amazing candidates. I think they are both saying very, very important things.
