Aug. 21 (UPI) — HBO is giving a glimpse of The Pitt Season 3.
The network shared a teaser trailer for the season Friday featuring Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch.
The Pitt is a medical drama following the emergency department staff of a fictional Pittsburgh hospital. Season 2 ended with Dr. Robby (Wyle) preparing to take a sabbatical amid his mental health issues.
In the Season 3 teaser, Dr. Robby is seen returning to the hospital, where the staff begin a new shift of challenging medical cases.
“I knew my first day back was going to be hard, dealing with what we go through here. And, I knew that it could get a little bit crazy. But, it’s time to get back to it,” Dr. Robby is heard saying.
Other returning cast members include Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Shabana Azaeez (Javadi), Ayesha Harris (Dr. Ellis), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi) and Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).
The Pitt Season 3 will premiere on HBO and HBO Max in January 2027.
