Democrats Reduced To Name-Calling Republicans 'Hitler'

A South Carolina newspaper reports that SC Democratic Party chairman, Dick Harpootlian, compared Gov. Nikki Haley to Adolph Hitler’s wife, Eva Braun.

S.C. Democratic Chairman Dick Harpootlian, never a loss for a quick quip, tossed a few stinging one-liners at the Wednesday delegation breakfast. 

On Gov. Nikki Haley participating in daily news briefings in a basement studio at the NASCAR Hall of Fame: “She was down in the bunker a la Eva Braun.”

Harpootlian’s comments come days after California Democratic Party chairman John Burton compared Paul Ryan’s speech to the RNC in Tampa, Florida, last week to the “big lie” strategy deployed by Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels. Burton later half-heartedly apologized for his remark. Yesterday, a Kansas delegate to the DNC likened Ryan to Hitler himself.
