Earnest: Obama Policies ‘Staved Off Second Great Depression’

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” host Bill Hemmer asked that considering this will be the president’s seventh year in office, how much time does Obama needed to fix the economy.

In response White House press secretary Josh Earnest claimed they had “staved off the second Great Depression.”

Earnest  said, “Because of the president policies we actually staved off the second grade depression. What we have done now is we pulled ourselves out of that hole thanks to the grit and determination of the American workers and American entrepreneurs.”
