Hillary Clinton to Chase Women Voters over Next Few Weeks

With Hillary Clinton looking to become the first female president of the United States, women voters are likely to emerge as an even more critical voter demographic than usual. That would explain why she seems to be going hard at messaging in that area so early in her effort, even  prior to any official campaign launch.

According to a USA Today report, over the next few weeks she’ll be focusing on women’s issues in a tightly packed series of events that play very well to what might already be considered her strong suit.

If Hillary Rodham Clinton wants to road test a stump speech, the next few weeks will give her plenty of opportunities.Clinton is scheduled to speak at several events over the next month where women’s rights will be the focus. The likely presidential candidate has long made women’s empowerment a priority — whether it was as first lady, a U.S. senator or secretary of State.Clinton is the keynote speaker Tuesday at a conference for women in Silicon Valley and will be interviewed by Kara Swisher of Re/Code, the technology website. Then on March 3, Clinton will be honored by EMILY’s List, as the political group that supports Democratic women marks its 30th anniversary.

No doubt Clinton critics in the form of GOP operatives will look to score points against the effort by pointing out how friendly, or perhaps less than friendly, her husband was to women’s issues — at least in a personal sense. Hillary’s husband has already been making bad news given his connection to what the NY Post via Fox Nation termed Bill’s “pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.”

Former President Bill Clinton took a romantic jaunt in 2002 to convicted pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein’s “orgy island” with “two young girls” from New York, according to a shocking new interview.

Virginia Roberts, who’s accused Epstein of turning her into a “sex slave” at age 17 and forcing her to sleep with his powerful friends, claimed Clinton stayed in one of the many villas on Epstein’s US Virgin Islands estate — where group sex was a “regular occurrence.”

“I remember asking Jeffrey, ‘What’s Bill Clinton doing here?’ kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said, ‘Well, he owes me a favor,’ ” Roberts told her lawyers in a 2011 interview obtained by RadarOnline.com. “He never told me what favors they were.”

Whether attacks over Bill’s infamous track record will impact Hillary’s own efforts remains to be seen. But it is bound to be part of the fireworks as campaign 2016 begins to heat up. Clearly she has enough concern with the demographic to be making it a big part of her early game plan.

Perhaps the biggest event will be her March 10 remarks at the United Nations marking the 20th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action — an outgrowth of a major conference on women she attended as first lady.
