Dunkin’ Donuts decided to keep their festive Christmas coffee cups after Starbucks decided to use plain red cups.

“For many years Dunkin’ Donuts has served coffee in festive cups featuring the word ‘joy’ as part of our annual celebration of the season and holiday offerings,” explained a spokesperson. “We believe this conveys the happiness and spirit of the holiday season in a way that resonates with our guests.”

Even Dustin Pari from SyFy’s popular Ghost Hunters approves on one of the cups.

Some people complained that the Starbucks plain red cup does not do enough to represent Christmas. Starbucks vice president of design Jeffrey Fields insisted the cups “embrace ‘the simplicity and the quietness’ of the holiday season.”

Customers used the hashtag #MerryChristmasStarbucks to show their displeasure with the cups. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump even suggested boycotting the coffee giant.

But now those who are offended can get their coffee in a Christmas cup.
